In a repeat of last season's
final the Hare & Hounds 'B' played the Rose Inn. Last season the Harun out
potted the Rose comfortably but this season the Rose are more resilient and
harder to beat. Kyle Allen was on cue to put the Rose one up in a tense
first frame... Nigel 'Van Damme' Farley soon made it two before captain Marc
Ellis-Cooper edged a close third frame... The
Harun
were reeling at this point but had last years cup hero Mark Williams on
next... sadly he had no answer to Rich Bradbury's precise potting....lol..
as he put the Rose four up... Jamie 'Javelin' Low then took the fifth frame
putting the Rose on the brink of their first ever Trophy at the half way
point... Harun captain turned to his star man Michael Nixon he duly obliged
to get the Harun on the score sheet. But any thoughts of a comeback were
soon quashed as 'Van Damme' produced a stunning cross double off his
opponents ball to take the match for a jubilant Rose Inn....
