Sunday 25th March

Coventry Reds  v  Nuneaton Top Guns

Another Sunday nightmare for the Guns

We started with young Ross Krupa against the veteran Baz Hinde, Ross had the upper hand and looked set to give us the lead but Baz soon slapped him down, unlucky, Up next you might know Paul 'who' Gibbs played John O'Shea, one mistake we are now 2-0 down, Next new to the team Ade 'Don't mind if I don't play' Pinnegar Snr, he was up against Stan Makh, your right Ade no second game for you!! 3-0 down. Next it was the turn of Ian "Swerve" Worthington he romped home against Johnny 'What are the Rules ex England Captain' Herbert  3-1, Here we go then Gareth 'who the F*cks Phil Parkin' Knight. I'll tell you who he is.. He's the young lad that's just whooped your arse 4-1 down... Now for old school Rod 'in love' Brown.. 'Unlucky Mr Nash'.. Rodders takes the frame 4-2. The boy wonder next Gaz "Tubes" Mangnal.. but sadly Paul Cannon blasted him off the table 5-2 to Cov... Rich Moore pots for fun... loses position and John Dempsey cleans up 6-2.. Ian "the fat lad can I have another chicken bite" Fowler plays a dream shot (Right O') then misses the cover shot.. Surinder Singh smiles and clears the table 7-2... This soon becomes 9 - 2 as the back nine starts the same way as the front nine.. Stan Makh beats Browney (long game again Rod) then Les Nash beats up young Craig morris... Gibbo takes out the legend Andy 'The Bear' Edgington to make it 9 - 3 before Baz Hinde gets lucky against Rich Moore and steals the win for Coventry.. The Guns then decide to turn off the safety as 'Swerve' wipes the smile off Surinder before young Ross Krupa beats Gaz 'I'll play' Calcott... Gareth Knight then puts John Dempsey away to make it 10 -6 what a come back! Come on Tubes? ok Don't worry be happy Phil Parkin wipes him out to make it 11 - 6... Another consolation frame went to Fat diet boy Fowler who beats Jamie Connolly...

All in all top guns where unlucky not to get more frames but we will keep turning up to play .
