This was Rob & Phil's first World Championships experience, and what an experience it was!!!

Both the U21's & U18's England teams won the World Championships (Both topped each group tables). The U21's beat Ireland 8-3 in the Final. Rob winning 12 out of his 15 frames finishing in top 10 of the leading players table with an incredible 80% win ratio.

The Under 18's beat Scotland 8-1, after a thrilling semi-final against Wales. This went to the final frame and final black with both players having at least a few chances to win, but Kyle from England eventually sinking the black (8-7). Phil winning 10 out of his fifteen frames.

He also made it to the quarter finals of the Junior Masters once again been defeated by Tom Cousins! He also took part in the Men's World Masters. There were 370 players that entered and Phil got down to the last 64, eventually been beaten by his own England team captain (Steve Petty), who went onto reach the last 16.

Rob reached the final in the U21's World Championship singles playing some excellent pool. He was narrowly been beaten 8-7 by last years Junior winner Pat McCarron. But he should be well proud of himself it's still a great achievement to reach a individual world final.
