Warwickshire's
very own Phil Parkin was bang on cue to lift the Warwickshire U25’s Pool
Open in memory of Jack Macleod. Once again Rileys Hertford place played host
to some of the countries finest young cueists. The 8th annual event in the
memory of Jack saw Parkin oupot Suffolk's Karl Sutton 6 - 1 in the semis
before beating team mate Aaron Easson 7 -1 in the final. Earlier Easson had
beaten Josh Riddaway from Bedfordshire 6 - 4 in the other final. Ewan Macleod
said “It was a fitting final, as 2 team mates battled it out in a great
match”.
Aaron & Phil were team mates in the
Warwickshire Youth County pool team and they both made the England team as
well. They were great mates of Jack Macleod, also a player in the Warks
County team.
