April 10th

Interleague Finals:-- Reds Elite go down 10 - 8 in both group games for a disappointing early exit.. Sam Mills and Stan Makh winning 3 out of 4 for the Elite.. Reds 1 were again paired with Leicester and they too went out in the Round Robin section with Scott Halcrow and Roy Pontefract on cue with 3 out of 4 frames.. Meanwhile Nuneaton 'A' comeback from 5 - 4 down to beat City of Leicester 12 - 6.. Then secure top spot in Group 6 by winning 8 frames against Halifax 'A' (8 - 5).. Paul Wills winning 4 out of 4 with Neil Randle 3 from 4.. Also going through from the Round Robin were Nuneaton Lions who held group favourites Small Heath to a draw then beat Crawley 10 - 8 to win group 30.. Mark Chapman on cue with 4 out of 4 plus 3 out of 4's for Keith Garner, Steve Tedds and Al Jones.. In the last 32 the Lions lose 10 - 6 to eventual losing semi finalists Dawley 'A' while Nuneaton 'A' brush Wigan aside by the same score line... After a nights rest Nuneaton return on Sunday morning to face the highly rated PJ's Stourbridge in the last 16... sadly only Paul Willis managed to notch a frame as they crash out 10 - 1...

Roger Charles, Dean Davis, Foz Sandhu, Phil Parkin and John Dempsey winning 2 frames each.. Nuneaton Lions move into third place after a hard fought 12 - 6 win over Nuneaton Supremes.. October 29th

Sadly Leamington & Warwick have called it a day... They have pulled out of the league all their results have been taken off the tables....

October 23rd

Nuneaton Lions beat Rugby 12 - 6 to maintain top spot but with other sides having games in hand it could be the last month they sit there. The Elite batter Nuneaton Top Guns 17 - 1 to move into 2nd place with Reds 1 3rd after their 13 - 5 thumping of Nuneaton Town... No result as yet from the Rileys HP and Leamington & Warwick match....

October 10th

Reds 1 were the only side to get through the round robin stage beating Accrington and South Norfolk 10 - 8. In the last 32 they breezed past Renegade A 10 - 3 before finally falling in the last 16 to eventually winners Trent Trophies 10 - 2. Meanwhile Nuneaton A got thumped 14 - 4 by Frank Smith before restoring a little pride by beat Wolverhampton Wednesday 10 - 8. Reds Elite led the mighty PJ's 8 - 5 but amazingly they lost the last 5 frames to go down 10 - 8. Waterloo then beat them 15 - 3... A bad day at the office foe the Elite.... Well done to Reds 1 for reaching the last 16.

October 2nd

Good luck to all those players at Yarmouth this weekend... Reds Elite have drawn PJ's and Waterloo.... They will have to at the top of their game to beat PJ's who are an awesome side... But the Elite are more than capable of doing them... Nuneaton 'A' also have a difficult draw in with Frank Smith (London) & Wolverhampton Weds 'B'... They will brush Wolverhampton aside but Frank Smith will be a different proposition... But Nuneaton can play so it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they qualified... Reds 1 have also been drawn in a tough group with South Norfolk and Accrington (no easy draws here) but they may be underestimated by the other two and breeze through...

September 11th

Nuneaton Lions move back into top spot after they came back from 7 - 2 to earn a draw with Nuneaton 'A'. The 'A' side move into 2nd spot and Reds Elite move into third place after their comfortable 13 - 5 win over Rileys HP.... Reds 1 slip to fourth but only because they had the bye this month they still remain favourites to retain their title.. Leamington & Kenilworth moved off the bottom of the table after notching their first win of the season after Rugby were unable to field a team....
Next Stop Yarmouth and the Interleague Knock out cup... Best of luck to Reds 1, Reds Elite, Nuneaton 'A' & Nuneaton Lions..... Hope the draw is kind to all of us.... Especially the Nuneaton boys...J

July 31

Reds 1 move back into top spot after coming back from 2 - 0 down to crush Rileys HP 16 - 2..... Nuneaton Lions slip to second despite beating Nuneaton Top Guns 11 - 7.... Nuneaton 'A' jump up a couple of place after battering Rugby 16 - 2... To be fair Rugby only had 7 players though... Reds Elite slip to fourth place after just edging past Nuneaton Town 10 - 8 after leading 6 - 0 & 8 - 2... All credit to Town for not giving up and nearly managing the best comeback since Leonard beat Hagler.....

This month the Lions beat Nuneaton Town 13 - 5 in a game a lot closer than the score line suggests.. In form Rugby slip to third only because of the points deduction from their Regulars match... They maintained their 100% record with an emphatic 16 - 2 win over Rileys HP... Reds 1 go second after they saw off a determined Leamington & Warwick 11 - 7.... Last but not least Nuneaton 'A'  were held to a draw by Reds Elite...

Nuneaton Lions move into third spot after beating Leamington & Warwick by the same 12 - 6 score line, but in a much closer game than the result suggests... Nuneaton A hold off a gallant fight from the Top Guns to edge home 10 - 8..while Nuneaton Town scored their first win of the campaign beating Rileys HP 11 - 7...
Next games on April 20th

Champions Reds 1 started off with a superb 12 - 6 win over an under strength Nuneaton 'A'. Reds Elite were also missing some key players and were saved from a first match defeat by Gaz 'Deadeye' Calcott... Calcott held his nerve to clinch a draw for the Elite on their trip to Nuneaton Lions. The Lions meanwhile will rue many missed chances. Rugby were made to battle all the way for their 10 - 8 victory over Nuneaton Town... while Rileys XX and Rileys Regulars gave there all in a hard fought 9 all draw....
