Warwickshire Youth 'A'    v   Worcestershire 'A' & 'B' 

Sunday 3^rd June 2007

Off to Worcester, this is the team that can stop us in our tracks. Just the A team to go, as they don’t have enough tables to support 2 youth teams!

Warwick's 'A' v Worcester 'B'

Playing the A team first. We started well with a 6-5 lead in the 1^st section. THEN stormed 2^nd by 8-3 making it 14-8 at the half-way point. In the 3rd section !!!!!!!!!!!! - 7-4 down. Going in the last section with only 3 frames ahead, winning it 7-4 (Jamie getting the winning frame). A great win against a good team.

 

Warwick's 'A' v Worcester 'A'

Playing Worcester ‘B’ next, we were definitely on a high. As the score shows after the first 2 sections (2-20) we were certainly out to get a great result. The winning frame was reached in the 3^rd game of the 3^rd section by Vivek. We went on to win that 2-9. In the final section some of the Worcester lads started to get a little more confidence, but still lost it 3-8. The result at the end of the match was 7-37.
