February 1st
Becs McCool was crowed the inaugural Quest Recoveries sponsored Nuneaton Ladies Singles League Champion after a fantastic season. Last night's draw between Karen Garner and Zoe Griffiths meant Becs secured the title. Becs was a well deserved winner with 10 wins, 4 draws and only 2 defeats, ironically both loses were to Zoe Griffiths who finished as runner up jist 6 points behind Becs. All 9 ladies that finished the season have played their part in a fantastic first season with some players growing in confidence and better match play players than when they first started.. Due to a little illness Third place is still up for grabs, Chantelle Green is currently occupying that position but both Jess Parker and Abbie Willis have to play Tash Astill and all 3 of these players can finish in the final money place.

The new season will break off this month with a few newcomers joining the competition which will be sponsored by Quest Recoveries once again.

There will also be a cup knock out within the league this season with the format be decided when this season runners are confirmed.

Players to express interest for the new season so far are Becs McCool, Zoe Griffiths, Chantelle Green, Abbie Willis, Jess Parker, Michelle Currin, Natasha Astill, Kerri-Anne Fowler, Gail Hammersley, Lisa Jackson and Amy Price.
